Our Organic Rye bread with Chia and Flax seed is made for Biona by a family-owned bakery in Muensterland, Germany. Established in 1927, the bakery uses traditional artisan skills-freshly grinding the grains just before baking to create loaves packed with the wholegrain goodness needed as part of a healthy diet.
The texture is properly dense and chewy without being dry, which is exactly what I want from a rye loaf. The chia and flax seeds add a nice subtle crunch in every slice, and it toasts up beautifully without falling apart.
This rye loaf has that dense, hearty crumb I crave, and the chia and flax seeds give it a lovely subtle crunch in every bite. You can tell it’s freshly ground and baked by people who care, not mass-produced. I’ve already gone through half the loaf just for breakfast toast.
