The fibre content is exactly what I was after, and these noodles kept a satisfying chew even after I simmered them a bit too long. Perfect bowl of comfort when I’m craving something heartier than regular pasta.
These noodles held up way better than regular pasta in my stir-fry, keeping a nice bite even after a few minutes sitting in the sauce. The earthy, nutty flavour from the spelt really comes through, and with that much fibre I actually felt full for hours after a small bowl.
Boiled up in about nine minutes and the noodles kept their bite through a stir-fry, which I wasn't expecting from a wholegrain. The fibre content is a real bonus, and they've got a nutty flavour that works well with a simple garlic and soy sauce.
