Biona pasta is made in a traditional Pastificio in the Dolomite mountains of Northern Italy. Our ingredients are simple - only the best quality organic Durum Wheat and Alpine water.
The sauce clings to these noodles way better than the cheap stuff I usually grab, and they hold their shape even after a few minutes sitting in the bowl. Clean, simple taste that lets the tomato shine through.
The bite is exactly what I look for in macaroni—firm enough to hold sauce but not at all chewy. You can taste the clean, simple quality of just wheat and mountain water in every bowl.
Boiled these for about 10 minutes and the bite was just right—firm but not chewy. You can really taste the clean, simple wheat flavor from the Alpine water. Already added it to my weekly pasta rotation.
