This deliciously rich Coconut Cream is a more concentrated, thicker version of our coconut milk, made by pressing fresh organic coconut meat. This tropical ingredient is the perfect dairy free alternative to cream and can be used in both sweet and savoury Oriental, Indian and Caribbean dishes. Coconut fat content 22%.
The 400ml can is perfect for my weekly curry batch, and the cream is thick enough that I don't need to simmer it down for ages. It splits a little when I add it straight to hot liquid, but stirring it in off the heat fixes that.
Been using this in my curries and even whipped some into coffee for a dairy-free treat. The organic pressed coconut meat gives it a true, fresh taste that canned versions just don't match. One 400ml tin easily lasts me a week of cooking.
The thickness is exactly what I hoped for—this is far richer than regular coconut milk and made my curry taste like it came from a restaurant. The 400ml carton lasted me through several batches, too.
