The can opened to a tight pack of beans that held their shape beautifully in chili. Nice that they're organic and already a solid source of iron and magnesium, which I’m trying to get more of. Two cans made a hearty pot for the week.
These beans are properly firm even after a long simmer in my chili, and I love that they're certified organic. A 350g tin is just right for a big batch of soup for two nights.
The can was easy to open and the beans held their shape nicely in a rice bowl, though I wish there was a bit more liquid for the sauce to cling to. Good protein boost for a quick weekday lunch.
