The juniper berries give it this subtle, almost piney depth that really elevates a simple rye bread sandwich. I’ve been eating it straight out of the jar with a fork, it’s that good.
The jar was bigger than I expected for the price, and the cabbage still has that nice crunch even after being shipped. I've been tossing it into my salads and it's become my favorite quick side, the juniper flavor is just enough to make it interesting without being overpowering.
The juniper berries give it a subtle, earthy kick that plain sauerkraut just doesn't have, and the crunch is still perfect from the jar. It's been my go-to side with salads all week, and I'm already on my second one.
